Deploy SSIS Packages - no Deploy (BIDS Helper) tab?

Hi, I have VS (BIDS) 2005 and BIDS Helper 1.4 installed and I have the same problem - the "Deploy" option is available when right-clicking on individual SSIS packages but Project properties is missing the options to set the BIDS Helper deployment settings. I was previously using BIDS Helper 1.3.0.8 and this was working correctly. Any ideas?

fixed in source code. will be in release following 1.4

All of the old releases are still available on the downloads page, but the latest release is always the default download. So in theory there should be no hard coded links to old version anywhere on this site. If you do find one please let us know.

Okay i found the 1.4.2.1 release for 2005 on the download page and now i have the bids-deploy-config tab in properties.
But i the 1.4.0.0 i had installed first was something i downloaded today from codeplex so you i guess you should sweep your site for links to the old version.

I have the exact same problem in VS2005 pro 8.0.50727.762, SQL SSIS 2005 v9.00.4035.00, VS 2005 Team Explorer 8.0.50727.804, TFS power tools 1.2.

(Also SQL server 2008 sp1cu3 10.0.2723.0 , SQL 2008 ssis 10.0.2531.0 and VS2008 pro 9.0.30729.1.sp Team Explorer 9.0.30729.1 on this machine which is WinXP v5.1.sp3-090206-1234)

I never had BIDShelper installed before. Disabling and reenabling BIDS deploy feature in Options doesn't help.

BIDS2008 reports version 1.4.2.1
BIDS2005 reports version 1.4.0.0 could it be that you have an old compiled version for download on codeplex

John, that's troubling. I thought we had that licked. Can you tell me exactly what Visual Studios and what SQL Server versions you have installed on your laptop? What service packs? What order did you install this stuff in? Which version are you using when you can't see the Deployment tab?

What OS? Are you an administrator? Do you see any error messages?

I just upgraded to 1.4.1.0, and I still don't have the BIDS Helper Deployment tab in the project settings. I still have my old settings, and BIDS helper still tries to use them when I use the Deploy command (which still tries to work).
