Appreciate if someone help !

Installation Instruction:

The source code has three .sln files:
  • BIDSHelper.sln - VS2005 solution for SQL2005 BIDS Helper
  • VS2008_BIDSHelper.sln - VS2008 solution for SQL2005 BIDS Helper
  • SQL2008_BIDSHelper.sln - VS2008 solution for SQL2008 BIDS Helper

Make sure you open up the right solution file if you're going to compile it yourself.

For SQL2008 (CTP6 or later), the install instructions are as follows:
  • If you have previously installed BIDS Helper 2008, just copy the compiled DLL and the BIDSHelper2008.AddIn file over the previous ones. They are installed at "C:\Program Files\BIDS Helper 2008" by default.
  • If you have never previously installed BIDS Helper 2008 using the installer, just copy the compiled DLL and the BIDSHelper2008.AddIn to the "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Addins" directory. If you go this route, be sure to delete these files from that directory before you use the next BIDS Helper release's installer.

What versions of Visual Studio do you have on your machine where you compiled the DLL for SQL2008? Do you have BIDS 2005?

What version of SQL2008 do you have? CTP6? RC0?

Did you have to change anything or fix any references when trying to compile the SQL2008 solution?

It's working fine for me on a machine with VS2008 and SQL2008 RC0 and nothing else.
