as you know BIDS has really excited documentation add-in for multidimensional olap cubes that export whole dimension usage, calculated measures, measure groups etc.

Is it possible to generate same report for the Tabular Models like,

- list of all connections

- list of the all tables

- list of the all table's fields with  Column Name, DataType, Calculation for both Source & Model columns

- documentation for calculated columns and calculated measures with measure dependency

- etc...

I think this is a good idea. It's a bit convoluted to get some of this information out of a tabular model. But I've been working on a Tabular abstraction model as part of the Dax Studio project (http://daxstudio.codeplex.com) and we might be able to leverage that here too.
