Concatenating a collection into a string.

I would like to concatenate a collection into a string in order to pass it on to a Microsoft BI Report. My objective is to display a regular table with more detailed information related the cell currently selected.

I have tried to use the settostr function but it is not working.

Has anyone succeeded in converting a set into a CSV string, or passing the various values to a BI report (or HTTP invocation)?

I doubt BIDS Helper can help here since BIDS Helper is just a development-time tool, not something that's involved when the report executes.

Is it just as simple as concatenating into a string using the Generate function in MDX:

member [Measures].[tst] as Generate([Geography].[Country].[Country].Members,[Geography].[Country].CurrentMember.Member_Caption, ", ")
select [Measures].[tst] on 0
from [Adventure Works]

I'm not clear on exactly where you are trying to plug in this. Are you wanting an MDX query to return a string which can then be interpreted by SSRS and displayed? Regardless, I would suggest this question may be better answered here:
