Hi,

Is it possible to generate an Execute Package Task with ReferenceType set to Project Reference?

Thanks,

Yes, here is some sample code:
<Biml xmlns="http://schemas.varigence.com/biml.xsd">
  <Packages>
    <Package Name="Package1" ConstraintMode="Parallel" ProtectionLevel="EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey">
    </Package>
    <Package Name="Package2" ConstraintMode="Parallel" ProtectionLevel="EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey">
      <Tasks>
        <ExecutePackage Name="ExecPackage1">
          <ExternalProjectPackage Package="Package1.dtsx" />
        </ExecutePackage>
      </Tasks>
    </Package>
  </Packages>
</Biml>

Thanks Scott!

Still one question: what is the syntax for Parameter bindings?

What kind of parameters? Parent package? Package? Project? ExecuteSQL? Something else?

I want to pass a variable from the master packages Execute Package Task to the child package, using a project reference (cfr. Parameter bindings screen in the Execute Package Task Editor)

How to pass pass a variable from the master package to the child package in the "Execute Package Task"?

This is a really old thread and I'm sure you've either figured this out by now or don't care, but here's an example of passing a variable to a child package parameter:
