Deploy SSIS Package not showing up

description

I just downloaded/installed BIDS Helper 1.6.0 and pulled up my SSIS 2008 R2 project. Sorting my packages works great - thank you for that. But the deploy package options don't show up. I don't get "deploy" in the right-click menu nor do I have any BIDS Helper deployment settings in the project's properties. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Can you find the following file then attach it to this issue:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp\BidsHelperDeploySSISPackagesPropertiesMenuDebugLog.txt

Unfortunately, sorting packages is now built into BIDS, so that sorting operation wasn't BIDS Helper.

Do you see any other BIDS Helper menu items on packages or your project?

I am running 1.6.1 and am having a similar problem. There is one project where it is showing up. In another solution, it doesn't. In both instances, the configuration options for Bids Helper is present. The one where it is showing up was created a couple of months ago. The one where it isn't was created this afternoon.

We had the same problem: can you try to show the project's properties by right clicking on the project? Strangely, the "Deploy (BIDS Helper)" option appears... The behavior is different when you select project's properties of the main menu of Visual Studio. It seems to be a bug.
