Unused variables in SSIS Package

Hi

I dont know if this has been raised before but it would be great to have a way to identify unused variables in a package. Perhaps some kind of icon in the variable window that gives a visual clue if the variable is used or not. In our project we sometimes copy an existing package to create a new one and some of the variables from the original package do not apply to the new package. This would be a great time saver.

Thanks

I added this feature request to this existing feature request:

Great suggestion!

Instead of an icon or highlighting, it would be pretty slick to have variables greyed out when they're not used anywhere.  Then it behaves like the code editors and you don't have any conflicts with existing identifiers for expressions or configured values.
